Elie Hirschfeld & Athletics

Elie Hirschfeld has long been passionate about athletics and competition. He spent 25 years as a competitive triathlete, and, at 71 years old, continues a routine of training and racing today.

From its inception, Elie identified athletics as one of the Elie Hirschfeld Foundation's key areas of philanthropy, making contributions to various organizations that promote awareness and opportunity in the area of athletics, particularly among young people.

Elie Hirschfeld's athletic ability was the subject of a recent mention in the Wall Street Journal, in an article offering insights on building better fitness habits.
